December 10th 2007: 1349 at the Inferno Festival 2008

1349 are confirmed for the 2008 Inferno Festival, along with bands such as Behemoth, Krux, Shining, Tulus, Destruction and Satyricon.

December 10th 2007: Frost

As many of you might already know, Frost recently had an accident where he fell and broke his leg. He is currently in hospital. In the meantime, the rest of the band will continue to work on the things that don't require Frost to be present, and wish him a quick recovery.

October 12th 2007: Change of live lineup and venue in Glasgow

There has been a change with regards to venue for the Glasgow-show. The show on the 16th of October will take place at The Barfly.

August 8th 2007: Norsk Rockforbund 25 år

Fredag 7. september er det duket for metal i anledning Norsk Rockforbunds 25-års jubileum! Fire av forbundets medlemmer, Inferno, Hole in the Sky, Motstøy-festivalen og South of Heaven, har gått sammen om å booke inn fire av sine favoritter for å gjøre dette til en helt spesiell aften på Betong i Oslo.

I tillegg til 1349 spiller Entombed (S), Ephel Duath (ITA) og Iskald (N).

1349 are confirmed for Slovenia's Metalmania festival taking place in Komen on August 11.

1349 are playing at the W.E.T stage at Wacken, and are scheduled to go on stage at 00.55 on August 4th.

July 26th 2006: Clarification / Live line-up autumn 2006

As posted on the website previously this year, 1349 will have none other than Tony Laureano (ex- Nile, Angel Corpse, Malevolent Creation ++) as their drummer throughout 2006 as drummer Frost is busy with Satyricon, and they will- in addition to guitarist Archaon, use session-guitarists when needed for upcoming live-appearances as a replacement for Tjalve, who left earlier this year.

1349 will perform as stated on the website: Together with Celtic Frost on the 12th of September up to 2nd of october - and therefore they won't be able to participate on the Birmingham on the 11th or the London-show 12th of September. However, the band are currently looking into more European dates for next year, so keep checking www.legion1349.com for more updates.

June 14th 2006: A statement from Tjalve

Founding member Tjalve has decide to leave 1349 to focus on his other bands Pantheon I and Sarkom.

After 9 years and 3 studio albums Tjalve has decided to pursue a different musical expression, concentrating solely on the vessel of his musical vision: Pantheon I

Tjalve leaves the band with the following statement: "I will remember 1349 as the most diabolical, vicious and plague- ridden band ever to stride the Earth, and I'm proud to have been a part of it. I'm confident that they'll continue to plague mankind for ages!"

June 9th 2006: Summer Breeze

1349 are playing at the Summer Breeze festival in Germany on August 17th 2006.

May 19th 2006: US date cancelled

Due to delays in the processing of the visa-application to enter the USA, 1349 will unfortunately have to cancel their appearance at the Death In The Forest- festival, scheduled to find place tomorrow 20'th of may in New York. We've done everything in our power and have followed every procedure to make this happen, and this matter is out of our hands.

It is with great dissapointment that we have to announce this, and we share with the fans the frustration this causes- this is mutual from our side.

April 25th 2006: Upcoming gig at Kroa, Bø

1349 will appear with regular lineup on this weekend's gig, as Frost is playing with the band at Kroa in Bø on April 29th 2006.

April 18th 2006: 1349 at Death in the Forest, NY

1349 are confirmed to headline the Death In The Forest fest on May 20th 2006 at the Orange County Fair Grounds in Middletown NY, with other acts as Vital Remains, Immolation and many more. For more info, please check the Death in the Forest website.

April 5th 2006: Replacement drummer

Tony Laureano (ex- Nile, Angel Corpse amongst others) will be replacing Frost on 1349's upcoming livedates in 2006, as Frost is busy with his other band, Satyricon at the moment.

The band has so far confiremed shows on the No Mercy festivals in Belgium and Holland as well as headline the Death In The Forest- festval in USA. Check the website for more gigs to come!

April 5th 2006: Hellflame festival in Germany

March 30th 2006: US appearance

1349 are confirmed to headline the Death In The Forest fest on May 20th 2006 at the Orange County Fair Grounds in Middletown NY, with other acts as Vital Remains, Immolation and many more. This will be 1349's first time on USA soil- you do not wanna miss this!

The 1349-gig at Club 3 in Asker, Norway will take place on Friday March 10th - a week later than previously announced.

1349 are playing on the mainstage during the Metalmania festival in Katowice, Poland on March 4th 2006.

November 23rd 2005: Nottingham and Manchester gigs are NOT cancelled

Rumours claiming the UK gis in Nottingham and Manchester are cancelled, are false. There have not been further tour changes and the gig at Rock City is taking place as planned.

We got major bus problems, and did not make the show in time. We wanted to play, but due to the club curfew it was simply impossible to reach it.

November 16th, Slovakia Guru Club Zilina
We arrived the club, and due to technical equipment from the venue we were forced to cancel as it would have been impossible for the bands to do a decent show.

Tonight's gig in Zilina, Slovakia has been cancelled. Awaiting an offical statement.

Due to technical problems during transport beyond the control of the band, tonight's gig in Ljubljana, Slovenia has been cancelled.
The gig in Budapest on November 15th will not be affected by this.
The band is sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.
