April 19, 2012 - 1349 TO UNLEASH AURAL HELLFIRE IN PUERTO RICO

1349 will be bringing Aural Hellfire to Puerto Rico for the first time ever on June 1st. The band will then continue on to support Marduk on their North American tour, ending with a string of dates in Mexico.

March 8, 2012 - 1349 TO RETURN TO NORTH AMERICA THIS JUNE

After a year's absence, 1349 will be bringing their evil plague back to the shores of North America. The band have just confirmed for a June tour with Marduk, Withered and Weapon. Tickets for all dates will go on sale on Friday, March 9th. 1349 will also be announcing another special headlining show in conjunction with this tour in the coming weeks.

Ravn commented: "After touring North America at least once a year this tradition was broken in 2011 it is with honor we accepted the invitation from Marduk to tour with them. We look forward to once again cross this continent and spread our Aural Hellfire."

Anti, true norwegian black denim, is known for their pitch black denims and connectedness to the true norwegian black metal culture. Previously, they have been running Fashionweek in Hell with Calico Cooper as a model, and now they present the concept CUSTOM MADE. Anti Denim designer Karoline Bakken Lund has, together with 1349, created exclusive handmade denims on the premisses of the members of 1349. Ravn, Frost, Archaon and Seidemann have all worked on this unholy creation of darkness vs denim.

The invited artist creates their very personal denim together with Anti. 1349 are sorry to announce that the rest of the shows on our planned tour in Europe will not happen this time around. We have instead started preparations in order to set up a full tour in Europe bound to happen this coming spring.

Sad as we are about having to wait before we can tour continental Europe, we're eager to play and now getting ready for a full blown assault on the British Islands.

On October 7th, 1349 will reissue their critically acclaimed album "Demonoir" as a limited edition box set, as part of the Indie Recordings Norwegian Collector's Edition Series. The box set contains seven bonus tracks, including an unreleased track that did not appear on the expanded edition or the limited edition, 12-page booklet, poster, guitar pick, a patch and autographed photo card. The box set is handnumbered and limited to 1000 copies worldwide.

1349 ANNOUNCES THEIR "PAN-EUROPEAN DEMONIUM" TOUR FOR THE FALL OF 2011

The Bells are chiming! We proudly announce that the first 1349 tour on European soil in many years is to take place in October 2011. After several rounds in the US, and following our pinnacle album Demonoir, we are finally going to make a tour happen in Europe again. We remember with great fondness the European tour following Hellfire, and it’s going to be fabulous and exciting to be back touring our own continent again. Playing Demonoir songs live gives us a diabolic boost, and the hunger and ferocity of 1349 have grown immensely since the last round. The classics from earlier albums will of course not be left out from our live-sets…we set out to make every show on our European tour a sheer feast of black metal ecstasy.

WELTENBRAND - The 1349 tour diary - Epilogue

The Legion is back home in a snowy and wintery Norway, gathering strength for our next raid. First of all we want to thank all our North American fans that came to our shows - we hope it was as enjoyable and intense for you as it was for us. Perhaps did we manage to ignite the flame in some of you that saw us for the first time...

It was a great tour. Being on the road with Triptykon is nothing less than an honour, and the two bands truly enjoyed each other's company. We grew to like Yakuza a lot, too! Then, it's very inspiring for us - musically as well as spiritually - to perform DEMONOIR-material live. It's truly challenging, but when everything works, it's like succeeding with a dangerous act of black magic, where we get to open the gates to vast depths of darkness and connect with the immense powers that streams out of there. Getting to share it with you was special to us.

We saw the U.S. leg of Weltenbrand as the tour that would conclude our touring cycle with DEMONOIR in the U.S. and Canada. But as the tour is now finished, it feels like there is still work to be done with the album in North America. There were areas we didn't get to cover neither on the Weltenbrand tour nor on the leg we did with Cannibal Corpse in the spring (south-east, mainly); that's one thing, and there is also the sensation that the task simply isn't finished yet. So who knows - there might be another round! We will keep you posted and let you in on relevant developments.

We most definitely haven't forgotten about our fans and supporters in Europe. Plans are made as this is written, plans that will result in an extensive 1349-tour around Europe. It has been oh so long since the last time, but we promise to make up for the time you have waited to again experience live Aural Hellfire. News regarding our forthcoming European tour will be posted shortly!

July 30th 2010: Weltenbrand World Tour 2010

2010 is a very special year for 1349. This is the year that saw the release of our pinnacle album DEMONOIR, into which we have channeled the darkest and fiercest contents of our souls and given it an aural form. As the album was released, the band was already on American soil doing the first tour of the touring cycle as main support for Cannibal Corpse. We were obviously rather excited about how the songs would feel and sound live and thus of the crowd's reaction to the new material, but it turned out to work eminently. It felt fabulous! Furthermore, it became clear to us that we had to follow up what we had begun and go back to the States and play a headliner tour in the fall. This intent has turned into cold reality as we now embark on a co-headliner tour with Triptykon.

Many of you are familiar with 1349's bonds to the creative mastermind Tom G. Warrior, and for us it's like pieces of a puzzle that fall into place as we now go on tour with Triptykon on their first journey to the U.S. We talk about two mighty forces that here will be joined; in 1349 we see it as nothing short of a great achievement that we could make it happen. We can promise you that 1349 will feed off this great happening, and we boldly state that every show on this Weltenbrand tour will be a triumph! We look STRONGLY forward to share some truly magical moments with our American fans on this tour, and judging from the reception we got on our short-but-sweet tour with CC this spring (hails!), this is gonna be A HELL OF A RIDE.

To complete the line-up of this legendary 1349/Triptykon-tour, we have invited the splendid weirdos Yakuzi as our special guests. "Come feel the Fire"...as Overkill would have said.

April 30th 2010: Frost has arrived, 1349 lineup complete

Yesterday saw Frosts debut performance with 1349 on american soil, as he joined the rest of the band in Chicago.

The band lineup is finally complete for the rest of the tour.

April 24th 2010: Finally on our way to the States!

Finally we are on our way to the States!

Frost is further delayed due to additional paperwork, but Tony Laureano will step in until Frost arrives.

At the moment it looks like the first show will be at Crazy Donkey, Long Island on April 25th. The 26th will be spent at DUFFS in Brooklyn.
